What's New:



March 12, 2011 - The environmental impact of Massachusetts Interfaith Power and Light's Annual Meeting in May will be reduced by a donation made by a small $.49 donation made by the attendees. The donation is sized for the estimated amout of driving and the CO2 produced balanced by the amount of CO2 reduced by a compact fluorescent light bulb.





March 6, 2011 - LiveCooler is providing bulbs to Co-Op Power, a regional network of local communities creating a multi-class, multi-racial movement for a sustainable and just energy future. Co-Op Power is running a community outreach program in limited resource communities.





October, 2010 - LiveCooler Works with Boston Climate Action Network

Apr. 19, 2010 - The Boston Athletic Association has again chosen LiveCooler to offset the CO2 from the buses that transport the runners to the starting line of the 2010 Boston Marathon. We're grateful for their continued support of the environment and of Boston's low-income families.

Dec. 4, 2009 - A motivated group of Yale students is created a series of beautiful ornaments made from discarded incandescent lightbulbs. The group is auctioning off the bulbs as a fundraiser for LiveCooler and we are grateful for their support.
   


Sept, 2009 - A big thank you to Google for their grant of in-kind advertising. Their grant will be very helpful in getting the word out about LiveCooler's great local carbon offset program and shows their commitment to doing good while doing well.





Sept 11, 2009 - The Episcopal Diocese of Massachusetts and Massachusetts Interfaith Power and Light partner with LiveCooler on a 9/11 Community Service Day in Roxbury, MA that will install energy efficient light bulbs to save families money and help the environment. The efficient light bulbs were made possible in large part by a donation by Innovative Incentives, Inc. an incentive travel company. More info.
     



May, 2009 - LiveCooler is selected by Boston College's Center for Corporate Citizenship to offset their annual convention in San Francisco, CA.




March 28, 2009 - LiveCooler is selected by the Boston Athletic Association to offset carbon dioxide at the 2009 Boston Marathon. But wait, that's a foot race! Yes, but there are 50 or so buses that take the runners from Boston to the starting line in Hopkinton.

LiveCooler Selected by Massachusetts Democratic Party Convention Delegates
The Massachusetts Democratic Party Delegates are offsetting their trip to the national convention in Denver using LiveCooler charitable carbon offsets that benefit low-income families in Massachusetts.



Salon.com's sustainability columnist, Pablo Paster, suggests LiveCooler as a good way to offset the environmental impact of summer travel.

The Boston radio station, Kiss108, has asked LiveCooler to offset 168 tons of CO2 to soften the impact of car travel to and from May's Kiss Concert at the Tweeter Center.
