How It Works

Your donation provides energy-efficient compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) for low-income families who can’t afford them.

Here’s how it works:

LiveCooler uses your donation to give compact fluorescent lightbulbs to non-profit low-income family assistance organizations.

Local non-profit housing organizations pass out the CFLs and ensure that they are installed.

With the CFLs installed, less electricity is used. The less electricity used, the less coal is burned and the less carbon dioxide is put into the atmosphere.

And, the low income families or their non-profit support groups save roughly 10% on their electric bill every month for 10 years (the estimated lifetime of the CFL).
