Your donation provides energy-saving lightbulbs to low-income families.

By using less electricity, the lightbulbs,

~ Reduce the families' electricity bills for 10 years.

Welcome to LiveCooler. The MA Democratic Party, working with the DNCC and others have selected LiveCooler offsets to not only offset delegate’s travel but install energy efficient compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) in the homes of low-income families right here in Massachusetts. Donations are tax-deductible and installations can be made in your local community. Your offset makes a positive impact on the environment, energy conservation and the finances of those in need.

The Democratic National Campaign Committee (DNCC) estimates that each delegate attending the national convention in Denver will produce approximately one ton of CO2 from their air travel and local accommodations.

The MA Democratic Party is encouraging delegates to take part in the LiveCooler program and also to take part in the DNCC program which can be found here: www.demconvention.com/green-delegate-challenge

Offsets purchased through either the DNCC program or the LiveCooler program count toward the DNCC Green Delegate Challenge.

Donations are NOT considered political contributions as they are made to the LiveCooler Foundation, Inc, a non-partisan, non-profit that uses the funds to offset carbon emissions. Delegates will know the total amount of donations made in their honor but Delegates will NOT know the donor’s name and amount of each donation.
